Wu tang stick-n-poke by Salty
Here’s Emma and I at occupy wall street. For anyone who doesn’t already know she’s been like a mom to me since about 9th grade and very soon I’ll getting a pin up girl tattoo that looks oddly like my best friends mom. It’s being drawn now and done soon. Pics to come.
Ok this one is currently unfinished because the artist I’m working with is very hard to book and I’m pretty broke so. Anyway, this tattoo is pretty unique. I really wanted a traditional japanese half sleeve representing the evolution of a koi that overcomes the currents to it’s dragon state. However that’s too plain for me so I had to put my own spin on it by replacing the koi and dragon with a Magikarp and Gyarados because pokemon was a huge part of my childhood and I still to this day love pokemon. I’ll post more pictures when it’s finished.
This was my third or fourth tattoo? I’m not sure how to count it because I have one unfinished piece I started before this. The story behind this tattoo starts with the relationship I share with my cousin Conor. Since we were kids we weren’t only cousins we were best friends. So after he went through bootcamp and came home on leave for a small amount of time we went to get celtic anchors along with our other best friend Sean. I however was unhappy with the line work of the artist so I went to my artist to have him fix the lines and color me in. I’m pretty happy with the fix and both my cousin and sean want to get theirs fixed by my artist now.
